What You'll Learn
- Conduct customer advice and sales conversations
- Determine stock needs and arrange orders
- Store and check goods
- Build and organise the product range
- Display goods and carry out sales promotions
- Learn to manage staff
- Plan staffing and prepare sales statistics, performance checks and accounts to monitor and manage store performance
Requirements
- Good Abitur or vocational university entrance qualification
- Enthusiasm for food retail, ideally with some practical experience
- Interest in how businesses work
- Customer focus and enjoyment of working with people
- Confident and assured manner
- Assertiveness, teamwork and organisational skills
- Strong commitment and ability to stay on top of things in stressful situations
