About this Apprenticeship
Abitur program to become a manager, with training as a retail business specialist (Handelsfachwirt) at REWE Dortmund in Bochum. You work in stores close to your home (about 30 km radius). With good performance, the training can be shortened to 18 months.
What You'll Learn
- Conducting advisory and sales conversations
- Determining goods requirements and ordering goods
- Storing and checking goods
- Building and designing the product range
- Presenting goods and carrying out sales promotion measures
- Introduction to staff management
- Carrying out staff planning and creating sales statistics, success checks and accounts to monitor and manage the store's performance
Requirements
- Good Abitur or Fachabitur
- Enthusiasm for food retail, ideally first practical experience
- Interest in business management topics
- Customer orientation and enjoyment of working with people
- Confident and self-assured manner
- Assertiveness, teamwork and organizational talent
- High commitment and the ability to keep an overview even in stressful situations
