Qualified Nurse in our Comfort Ward

Zentralklinik Bad Berka is seeking a qualified nurse to join its comfort ward as soon as possible, working full time for 40 hours per week. This teaching hospital of Jena University Hospital has 21 specialist clinics and centres and 647 beds.

• Take responsibility for organising, delivering and documenting the entire nursing process around patients' needs
• Independently ensure high standards of nursing care on the ward and actively improve them
• Organise, coordinate and improve daily ward routines to provide modern care focused on patients' needs
• Professionally manage the entire nursing admission and discharge process
• Monitor strict compliance with all hygiene rules and infection prevention measures on the ward

• Completed vocational training as a nurse or an equivalent recognised qualification
• A structured approach to work and the ability to coordinate complex ward routines efficiently
• Ability to work as an equal partner with doctors, therapists and social services and encourage active discussion within the team across different professions
• A strong sense of responsibility and a trained eye for nursing quality and hygiene
• A strong focus on service and a professional manner with patients who have high expectations, combined with caring and respectful communication
• Calmness and mental resilience, including during critical acute situations and emergencies
• Openness to constructive feedback and enjoyment of learning from experience and continuing to develop
