Qualified Nurse in Neurosurgery

Zentralklinik Bad Berka is seeking a qualified nurse for its neurosurgery department to start as soon as possible, working full time for 40 hours per week. The academic teaching hospital of Jena University Hospital has 647 beds and 21 specialist clinics and centres.

• Organise, carry out and document patient-focused nursing care, and contribute your own ideas for modern ways of working
• Take responsibility with the new team for maintaining and improving the ward's high standard of nursing care
• Coordinate daily ward routines to provide modern care that respects patients as equals
• Manage the entire nursing admission and discharge process professionally
• Encourage active exchange between doctors, therapists and social services
• Monitor strict compliance with all hygiene rules and infection prevention measures to ensure safe working
• Monitor neurosurgical patients confidently and sensitively in all medical situations

• Completed vocational training as a qualified nurse, general nurse or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Strong focus on patients' needs
