Preliminary master's thesis topic: 'Design Rule Evaluation for Via-Filling Depending on Surrounding Geometry.'

• Design development of a suitable printed circuit board test board
• Accompaniment of the production process and metrological recording of the filling level of microvias
• Statistical evaluation of raw data and derivation of design rules
• Derivation of a mathematical relationship between experimental filling level and theoretical environmental consumption of galvanic copper
• Spot checks for verification of the transfer function
• Communication and close cooperation with internal and external partners
• Support in process integration into printed circuit board manufacturing

• Completed bachelor's degree in microsystems engineering, nanotechnology, sensor technology & analytics, chemistry or comparable
• Very good knowledge of evaluation methods (coordinate measuring machine) desirable
• Basic knowledge of galvanic processes
• Methodical and structured approach
• Independent way of working
• Good team skills
