Master Craftsman Electrical Engineering in Avionics

The Memmingen site is the Group's central technology and manufacturing center with more than 2,100 employees. The company is looking for a Master Craftsman in Electrical Engineering in avionics, full-time and permanent. Pay follows the collective agreement of the Bavarian metal and electrical industry, with a 35-hour week.

• Testing devices with high-frequency technology in avionics
• Systematic and structured search for highly complex faults and fixing them at device and assembly level, e.g. also using non-classical measuring equipment and involving development and product engineering, including faults in the measuring system
• Carrying out the extended outgoing inspection according to aeronautical radio requirements
• Supporting the integration of new products into series production during new product launches
• Investigating and clarifying documentation errors, quality problems and equipment problems, and initiating measures to resolve them (e.g. involving the technology area, process optimization, quality departments and design, drafting change requests)
• Supporting employees in service processing with technical problems
• Actively taking part in shopfloor management and applying its findings in your own daily work, including continuous coordination with colleagues

• Completed technical vocational training in the electronics field (e.g. as electronics technician for devices and systems, communications electronics technician, radio technician, information electronics technician, industrial electronics technician, radio and TV technician (m/f/d)) plus technical further training (such as Master Craftsman in Electrical Engineering or technical business specialist (m/f/d)) or a comparable qualification
• Experience in testing or analyzing electronic assemblies or systems, ideally related to high-frequency technology, is desirable
• Good German skills (B2 level) and good technical English (B1 level)
• Willingness to work shifts (early and late shift) when needed
• Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and confident use of common office applications
