Obsolescence Management Specialist

• Responsibility for central receipt, registration and initial assessment of all PCN/PDN notifications
• Performing PCN/PDN mapping and matching against the R&S parts master
• Handling inquiries on material compliance
• Pre-analysis and categorization of incoming notifications, for example by urgency or affected products
• Coordinating the timely forwarding of PCN/PDN notifications to the responsible departments, especially Engineering, Quality, Purchasing and Production
• Supporting development in obtaining samples in close coordination with the departments involved
• Monitoring progress and initiating escalation measures when deadlines slip
• Using internal and external tools for efficient processing, tracking and documentation of processes
• Responsibility for maintaining the database and tracking system for all PCN/PDN cases
• Creating regular status reports on the current processing status
• Coordinating and ensuring complete and traceable documentation of all results

• Technician in communications/electrical engineering with relevant work experience, or a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• Experience coordinating administrative or technical processes, ideally in an industrial environment
• Confident use of common office applications as well as digital database and tracking systems
• Structured, careful and independent way of working with a strong focus on quality
• Enjoyment of working with different departments and coordinating parallel processes
• Very good German skills (at least C1 level) in speaking and writing
• English skills for handling technical documents and communicating with international contacts are an advantage
