• Developing and implementing material group and purchasing strategies in interdisciplinary teams
• Identifying, selecting and developing suitable suppliers and negotiating prices, terms and contracts with national and international suppliers
• Strategic analysis of procurement markets
• Permanent monitoring of demand and capacity situation internally and externally
• Early demand planning in consultation with the specialist departments
• Coordinating and implementing defined outsourcing potential with relevant interfaces
• Supplier and risk management including audits
• Evaluating, deriving and monitoring agreed measures including holding necessary review meetings
• Ensuring availability of goods and services within escalation management
• Active further development of purchasing processes
• Contributing to cost-saving projects with regard to KPIs

• Completed degree in industrial engineering / business administration or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing
• Practical experience in negotiating with suppliers
• Relevant knowledge in purchasing mechanical and electromechanical components
• Very good knowledge of contract management
• Technical understanding and motivation to deepen knowledge
• Experienced use of SAP / MS Office
• Negotiation skills and assertiveness
• Analytical skills and a structured way of working
• Teamwork and strong communication skills
• Above-average commitment and strong cost awareness
• Very good German and English, written and spoken; further languages an advantage
