Apprentice Environmental Technologist for Wastewater Management

Ruhrverband operates technical facilities for water management and helps keep rivers and lakes clean. It offers an apprenticeship in wastewater management technology at its wastewater treatment plant in Menden for the 2027 training year.

• Maintaining and servicing machinery and equipment
• Electrical work, such as connecting machines
• Chemical wastewater testing and laboratory analysis
• Monitoring the plant's measurement, control and regulation systems
• Fixing faults
• Wastewater drainage and rainwater management
• Sustainable energy generation

• Good school-leaving qualification; intermediate secondary school certificate preferred
• Interest in mathematics, physics, biology and chemistry
• Practical skills and technical understanding
• Spatial awareness
• Willingness to learn and work hard
• Teamwork and willingness to solve problems
• Initiative
• Good general education and good manners
• Flexibility to work mainly in eastern and southern Sauerland
• Very good German skills at at least C1 level
