About this Apprenticeship

Six-month internship at Schaeffler in Herzogenaurach, starting on 1 September 2026. You will support innovative production and logistics concepts and digital tools for AI-assisted production design.

What You'll Learn

Help develop and analyze innovative production and logistics concepts in Advanced Production Concepts
Independently design and develop digital tools for efficient digital engineering in production design, including logistics
Help implement autonomous applications at the Schaeffler Group's Production Technology & Innovation Center
Research and systematically organize information on autonomous and partly autonomous production design, planning, and control
Support daily operations and projects

Requirements

Proof of university enrollment during the internship is a basic requirement for an internship at Schaeffler.
Studies in production engineering, logistics, computer science, industrial engineering and management, or a similar subject
Interest and enthusiasm for innovative solutions for future production and logistics
Sound knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C, and C++ is desirable
Basic knowledge of digital engineering, including relevant software such as 3DExperience, Visual Components, and NVIDIA Omniverse, is desirable
Very good written and spoken German and English
Confident use of MS Office
Strong initiative, analytical skills, and organizational skills
An independent, careful, and structured approach to work
