Analytical Laboratory Technician, Part-Time (50%)

In SCHOTT's analytical laboratory, you will support quality assurance and product development through precise chemical analyses, material testing and experimental melts.

• Plan, carry out and evaluate qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses
• Test and analyse raw materials, materials and products
• Carry out and characterise experimental melts to support product development
• Ensure raw materials and products are sampled and approved
• Keep laboratory equipment and testing systems ready for use
• Document test results, planning steps and work procedures
• Create and maintain testing, process and work instructions
• Monitor and document measurement quality
• Contribute to development projects and take responsibility for assigned work packages

• Completed vocational training as a chemical or physics laboratory technician, or comparable scientific and technical vocational training
• Initial laboratory experience, ideally in development, analysis or production
• Good working knowledge of MS Office
• English skills for working with technical documents and records
• Careful, organised work with a focus on quality
• Ability to work in a team and organise your work independently
