Customer Quality Engineer

As a Customer Quality Engineer, you bring together customer requirements, quality standards and technical possibilities and represent the Grünenplan site to international customers.

• Responsibility for quality-related topics in customer, quality and production projects and shaping measures for continuous improvement of product and process quality
• Translating customer requirements into concrete measures in close cooperation with Application Engineering, Production, Product Management and Sales
• Professional management of conflicting goals between customer requirements, quality standards and technical possibilities, considering economic aspects
• Moderating technical discussions between customers and internal interface functions and representing Quality Assurance at customer visits and audits
• Close cooperation with production areas to strengthen quality awareness and identify improvement opportunities
• Analyzing quality metrics, complaint and process data and deriving and implementing effective measures

• Completed degree in engineering or a comparable technical field
• Several years of professional experience in quality management at a manufacturing company and experience working with international customers
• Strong communication and moderation skills and experience bringing different interests together into a viable solution
• Experience managing cross-department projects and working with production, development and other interface functions
• Sound knowledge of common quality methods and problem-solving tools (e.g. 8D, FMEA, 5-Why, Ishikawa, SPC, MSA) and confident handling of quality metrics, data analysis and statistical evaluations
• Strong technical understanding, analytical thinking and the ability to translate customer requirements into practical, sustainable solutions
• Very good German and English skills and willingness to travel internationally
