Apprenticeship as Mechatronics Technician

Location: Bielefeld Start: August 2027 Duration: 3.5 years, with the possibility of shortening to 3 years with good performance and appropriate prior education. Vocational school: Carl-Severing Vocational College in Bielefeld. After your apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician (f/m/d), you can work, for example, as a service technician (maintenance and repair of machines and systems) and maintenance technician (responsible for maintenance and repair of machines and systems). Learning the fundamentals of mechanics, electronics, and electrical engineering; assembling, testing, maintaining, and repairing machines, systems, and technical equipment; gaining insights into automation technology, robotics, and PLC controls; analyzing technical faults and developing appropriate solutions; working with modern measuring, testing, and diagnostic systems; accompanying service calls in indoor and outdoor areas and supporting the on-site care of our customers; participating in the commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of technical systems; using English for technical documentation and customer contact depending on the area of deployment.

You are at least 18 years old at the start of the apprenticeship; you have a secondary school diploma (Realschulabschluss) or (technical) high school diploma (Abitur); you are interested in technology, machines, electronics, and technical contexts; you have technical understanding and manual dexterity; you are interested in automation technology, robotics, or control engineering; you work carefully and reliably; you are motivated, eager to learn, and enjoy working in a team; you have good English skills and can communicate confidently with customers in English.
