What our 4,000 employees share is the passion and commitment in their daily work. #TeamSCOS As Consultant Payments & Digital Currencies (m/f/d) you take on the technical and project-specific responsibility for the preparation and operational implementation of innovative payment solutions in the context of the Digital Euro, Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC) and private digital currencies. You act as an interface between business requirements, IT, Legal & Compliance and external partners and institutions. We are ready to take the next step in the payment of the future – are you in? • (Partial) Project Management & Implementation: Taking over (partial) project management of international projects for preparation and integration of infrastructures for novel digital payment types (including Digital Euro and Stablecoins).
• Interface & Stakeholder Management: Independent steering of internal and external interfaces (Business, IT, Legal, external partners) as well as bundling and provision of all relevant payment topics.
• Committee & Association Work: Active participation and representation in external working groups and international committees as well as conducting innovation workshops with merchants and partners.
• Regulation & Process Analysis: Analysis and evaluation of regulatory frameworks and derivation of concrete functional and commercial process requirements.
• Process & Product Development: Further development of existing and co-creation of new innovative payment methods for the retail divisions of the Schwarz Group companies (Lidl and Kaufland) considering POS, e-commerce and accounting processes.

• Education: Successfully completed degree in business administration, finance, business informatics or a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience: At least 2 years relevant professional experience in project management, finance or payment environment.
• Technical & Payments Expertise: Basic knowledge of payment transactions and understanding of the architecture, regulation and functioning of CBDC / Digital Euro.
• Project methodology: Practical experience in steering complex projects using agile and classic methods.
• Industry understanding: Strong interest and understanding of retail and POS processes as well as business models and payment methods.
• Language skills: Very good German and negotiation-proficient English skills in word and writing.
