Junior Consultant - Digital Transformation in Accounting

Help digitise accounting at one of the world's leading retail companies. The role focuses on financial processes and digital tools, connecting finance and IT.

• Process improvement: Manage and improve processes and specialist topics related to inventory accounting at Lidl and Kaufland
• Developing solutions: Help improve accounting processes through digital tools and automation
• Connecting teams: Act as the main contact for international country companies, advise them on specialist questions and run workshops
• Quality checks: Test new software and ensure it is introduced smoothly within the business department
• Project work: Contribute your knowledge to finance projects across teams and help develop new ideas using modern technologies such as AI applications
• Analysis: Help analyse key figures to manage and improve processes

• A completed degree in economics, business administration, business information systems or a comparable subject
• Ideally, some relevant experience in accounting, controlling or project management, for example through internships or student jobs
• An understanding of business processes and some experience in project and process management
• A strong interest in IT and new technologies, ideally with some experience using standard software such as SAP MM
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work
• Strong communication skills and very good spoken and written German and English
• The ability to work in a team and enjoyment of working with colleagues and customers
