Data Protection Lawyer, 24-Month Contract

In this full-time, 24-month position in Neckarsulm, you advise Schwarz Group companies on data protection. You help ensure business processes comply with the law, review contracts and develop the data protection compliance management system.

• Act as the central contact for advice on all data protection matters within the company
• Help ensure business processes comply with the law and remain suitable for future needs in an interesting environment
• Proactively advise departments and management on complex data protection questions, especially those involving new technologies, business models and international requirements
• Draft and review data protection contracts
• Independently analyze business processes from a data protection perspective, identify potential risks and develop practical, new solutions to improve and safeguard them
• Explain data protection requirements and help departments put them into practice
• Continuously develop the data protection compliance management system

• Successfully completed law studies as a fully qualified lawyer or a business lawyer with a comparable qualification
• Several years of relevant experience in a legal position focused on data protection law, ideally in a company, law firm or consulting firm
• Ability to understand complex matters quickly, analyze them precisely and develop new, practical solutions
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills to explain complex legal matters clearly to different audiences and persuade stakeholders at all levels
• German and English skills sufficient to conduct negotiations
• Strong ability to cooperate, team spirit and a high level of trustworthiness and responsibility
