Program Manager for AI Literacy at the IPAI Foundation

The IPAI Foundation connects research, business and society and helps people understand artificial intelligence, shape it responsibly and take part in public discussion. The AI Literacy & Engagement team shares AI knowledge through exhibitions in the IPAI LIVING ROOM, events such as the KI Salon and KI Festival, and other educational programs. The foundation is seeking a full-time program manager in Heilbronn to develop innovative learning formats and make AI knowledge accessible to all parts of society.

• Design and lead innovative AI literacy projects and interactive learning formats from the first idea through to successful delivery.
• Actively advance AI literacy within the IPAI Foundation in close cooperation with partners and lay the groundwork for forward-looking educational offerings that teach people about artificial intelligence.
• Act as the central, welcoming point of contact for partners in research and education and maintain these partnerships over the long term.
• Contribute your technical and ethical expertise, for example in explainable AI, responsible AI and data privacy in large language models, to the IPAI Foundation’s formats and help develop the whole organization.
• Work closely with the team to shape the concept for the campus communication center and establish AI literacy as a lasting part of this setting.

• You have a completed degree, for example in Computational Linguistics, AI Ethics / Philosophy of Technology, Media Education, Educational Sciences or Didactics, or solid vocational training in an agency setting.
• You explore how modern AI architectures work, such as large language models and transformers, can assess ethical and social implications such as bias, alignment and the AI Act with sound knowledge, and have technical skills beyond simply using common chatbots.
• You are passionate about teaching people about AI technologies and have experience designing creative learning formats, such as workshops and training sessions.
• You have strong organizational, project management and event management skills and keep track of everything even during busy and changing periods.
• You find it easy to approach people openly and communicate well, maintain networks and get a broad public interested in innovation.
• You value an agile working environment, work with a strong team focus and communicate confidently in German and English.
