About this Apprenticeship
Three year apprenticeship as a food technology specialist at Bon Gelati Haaren GmbH in Waldfeucht. You learn about modern ice cream production, from checking raw materials through manufacturing to packaging and storage.
What You'll Learn
- During your three year apprenticeship, you develop into a specialist in the industrial production of high quality ice cream products.
- You become increasingly familiar with setting up and monitoring production machinery and equipment, until you qualify as a fully trained specialist.
- You help check incoming raw materials and learn how dried fruit moves through the computer controlled process, from machine production to fully automated packaging and storage.
- You learn the necessary theory in vocational school classes.
Requirements
- A good Hauptschule or Realschule school leaving qualification with good grades in science subjects
- Enthusiasm for technical processes and how they work
- Enjoyment of working with computer controlled systems and an interest in food
- Teamwork, a sense of responsibility and motivation
