Project Engineer Food Production

• Independent management of investment and maintenance projects e.g. for production plants or technical building equipment (TGA)
• Process & plant analysis for identification and technical optimization of production processes
• End-to-end project control: from concept through feasibility to commissioning and normal operation
• Control of external partners and monitoring of construction and assembly activities on site including subcontractor control
• Independent coordination of approval procedures (e.g. BImSchG) and consistent compliance with all hygiene, quality and safety standards (e.g. HACCP)
• Preparation of decision templates and presentations for management as well as maintenance of technical documentation and project data

• Successfully completed technical degree (Bachelor required, Master/Diploma ideal) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, food technology or a comparable qualification
• Experience in managing investment projects in the manufacturing industry, ideally in the food or process industry
• Sound knowledge in the area of production plants, TGA and infrastructure
• Understanding of hygiene, quality and safety standards in food production (HACCP, IFS) desirable
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for plants (including food safety, EU Machinery Directive, occupational safety, environmental regulations)
• Advanced basic knowledge in SAP (MM, PM) and CAx software (AutoCAD, eplan)
• Analytical, forward-thinking mindset as well as team and communication skills
