Project Engineer Mechanical and Plant Engineering

At the Eystrup site, the company has produced jam, honey and sweet fillings of the highest quality for over 130 years. It has been part of Schwarz Produktion since 2025. They are looking for a project engineer for investment and maintenance projects. The position is permanent and is 38 hours per week.

• Independently leading investment and maintenance projects, e.g. for production plants or building services (TGA)
• Process and plant analysis to identify and technically optimize production processes
• End-to-end project management: from concept and feasibility to commissioning and regular operation
• Managing external partners and supervising construction and installation activities on site, incl. control of external contractors
• Independently coordinating approval procedures (e.g. BImSchG) and consistently complying with all hygiene, quality and safety standards (e.g. HACCP)
• Preparing decision papers and presentations for management and maintaining technical documentation and project data

• Successfully completed technical degree (Bachelor required, Master/Diplom ideal) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, food technology or a comparable qualification
• Experience leading investment projects in manufacturing, ideally in the food or process industry
• Sound knowledge of production plants, building services (TGA) and infrastructure
• Understanding of hygiene, quality and safety standards in food production (HACCP, IFS) desirable
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for plants (including food safety, EU Machinery Directive, occupational safety, environmental regulations)
• Advanced basic knowledge of SAP (MM, PM) and CAx software (AutoCAD, eplan)
• Analytical, forward-thinking approach as well as teamwork and communication skills
