About this Apprenticeship
Our foundation is the over 175-year experience of SCHWENK Zement GmbH & Co. KG – one of the oldest family businesses in the German building materials industry, headquartered in Ulm. As a 100% subsidiary, we have pooled our strengths together since 1994 under the roof of the SCHWENK Building Materials Group. We produce high-quality and high-performance building materials for the regions of West Saxony, Central Erzgebirgskreis and East Thuringia.
What You'll Learn
- You deliver ready-mixed concrete to our customers using a mixer truck.
- At our ready-mixed concrete plant, you load the vehicle and unload it on site.
- You clean and maintain the vehicle.
- You also ensure the operational safety of the vehicle.
Requirements
- Driving license class C/CE with key number 95 (modules) or, from 2021, driver qualification certificate
- Friendly demeanor and independent work
- Technical understanding
- Good German language skills
What We Offer
- Working hours 39.5 hours/week
- Working time account with time off in lieu or overtime payment possible
- Vacation 28 days/year with staggered increase to 30 days after 5 years (+ Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve off)
- Remuneration according to collective agreement including Christmas bonus - Income depends on qualifications and experience and complies with tariff provisions. (Minimum gross remuneration on full-time basis: EUR 2,935.00 / month plus allowances)
