Project Engineer

Freiberger Lebensmittel GmbH is one of the leading producers of chilled and frozen pizzas. As a technical project engineer, you take responsibility for planning, managing and implementing technical projects at the site. Permanent contract, full-time.

• You take responsibility for technical investment and modernization projects at our site.
• You successfully launch new equipment, technical innovations and conversion projects together with the departments.
• You plan projects holistically, coordinate everyone involved and ensure time, cost and quality goals are met.
• You identify optimization potential in our production and supply systems and implement improvements sustainably.
• You support tests, initial production runs and technical changes during ongoing operations.

• Successfully completed degree in engineering, process engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable technical qualification
• Experience in planning and implementing technical investment or optimization projects, ideally in a manufacturing company
• Technical understanding of production equipment and interest in modern and innovative technologies
• Structured, solution-oriented way of working, keeping an overview even with several projects running in parallel
• Organizational skill, initiative and reliable, team-oriented cooperation with different contacts
• Understanding of business contexts, making decisions based on quality, efficiency and cost
• Confident communication with internal and external project participants and driving projects forward in a goal-oriented way
