Accounts Receivable Clerk

Internal candidates are sought for accounts receivable work at the Berlin location. This is a permanent, full-time position available immediately.

• Assign accounts and record incoming payments, such as bank statement entries and cheques
• Monitor outstanding items and ensure they are recorded correctly
• Prepare and send payment reminders and manage receivables
• Resolve differences between incoming payments and invoices
• Reconcile customer accounts and bank clearing accounts
• Prepare regular reports, particularly on the age of outstanding receivables
• Check deductions and handle related matters
• Support year-end accounting work, for example through balance confirmations
• Manage credit insurance and monitor credit limits
• Obtain credit reports and help apply for credit lines
• Handle other accounting tasks, such as cash postings

• You have completed commercial vocational training
• You have at least two years of accounting experience, ideally in accounts receivable
• You work in a structured, careful and independent way
• You have a good understanding of numbers and strong analytical skills
• You are reliable and responsible
• You enjoy teamwork and communicate confidently with internal contacts
• Knowledge of common enterprise resource planning systems, such as SAP, and MS Office is an advantage
