Senior IT Manager Digital Platforms & Enterprise Applications

Severin is looking for an experienced IT leader to join its IT and Digitalization team in Sundern, with the option of mobile working. The role is responsible for the strategic and operational development of the company’s digital application and platform landscape.

Strategically and operationally develop the enterprise application and platform landscape, including SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud, SAP BTP, cloud, SaaS and platform solutions. Shape enterprise architecture and technical standards. Manage API, EDI and BTP integrations between SAP, the web shop, marketplaces and external systems. Establish application ownership structures and manage releases, changes, roadmaps and migrations. Integrate security, data protection, access rights, third-party risks and business continuity requirements. Structure and prioritise requirements and manage cross-functional digitalisation projects. Further develop the application management model and manage SAP and technology partners. Establish architecture and security reviews. Prepare technical and commercial decisions and take operational responsibility for critical projects and incidents.

Degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification. Several years of experience in a responsible IT role and experience with complex enterprise application landscapes. Understanding of integrated business processes, with experience in IT project, provider and service management and in cloud, integration or platform architectures. Ideally, knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, Integration Suite, EDI, APIs, e-commerce or comparable solutions. Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, ITIL and cloud and SaaS architectures is an advantage. Technical understanding, with the ability to assess architecture decisions and guide specialists professionally. Independent, commercially aware and confident communication style.
