Electronics Technician / Mechatronics Technician for System Operation and Maintenance of Our Fully Automated High-Bay Warehouse

Severin is seeking a skilled professional for its maintenance team in Sundern to ensure the reliable operation and maintenance of a fully automated high-bay warehouse.

Monitoring and controlling material flow through control-room systems; carrying out maintenance, inspections and repairs on logistics systems, storage-and-retrieval machines and conveyor technology; analyzing and resolving faults and physical blockages; analyzing material-flow faults using SAP; maintaining PLC-controlled systems and performing software diagnostics; supporting new electrical installations and building-services maintenance; continuously improving technical systems and processes.

Successfully completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician for industrial engineering or an equivalent technical qualification; solid understanding of electrical and mechanical work; ideally experience with automated systems or industrial engineering; knowledge of PLC systems such as Siemens S7 or TIA Portal; confidence using digital systems and control-room technology; technical understanding, practical skills, ability to work at heights, flexibility for shift work and on-call duties; independent working style, commitment and teamwork.
