Payroll and Salary Accounting Specialist

This permanent full-time role covers independent monthly payroll processing, time management administration and advising employees and managers on payroll-related matters.

Processing monthly payroll in line with statutory, collective-agreement and company requirements; calculating shift models and tax- and social-security-relevant allowances; maintaining master data in SAP; managing time records and resolving discrepancies; supporting external personnel service providers; advising employees and managers; handling reporting and certification processes and preparing evaluations; supporting audits and improving payroll and time-management processes; supporting occupational health management and general administrative tasks.

Completed training as a tax clerk, industrial clerk or comparable qualification, plus further training in payroll processing or payroll accounting; experience with independent payroll processing; very good knowledge of wage tax and social security law; confident use of MS Office and ideally SAP S/4HANA HCM; ideally experience working with external personnel service providers; structured, careful and responsible working style; strong service orientation; discretion and reliability; very good German skills at at least C1 level; ideally good English skills at least at B1 level.
