Technical Clerk, Building Maintenance

The Dormagen city administration is looking for permanent reinforcement for the Building Maintenance team of the Technical Facility Management of its municipal enterprise. Full-time, pay up to pay grade EG 10 TVöD, start at the earliest possible time.

• Maintenance and repair of the city's and city-used properties, real estate and sports facilities
• Carrying out tenders and award procedures under UVgO, VgV, VOB and HOAI
• Processing defect reports
• Carrying out annual building inspections to determine the structural condition and repair needs, plus asset recording
• Helping implement and maintain a CAFM system to improve building management and maintenance processes
• Helping with accounting, especially budget monitoring, bookkeeping and the preparation of financial statements and reports

• A completed university degree (Bachelor or Diplom FH) in architecture or civil engineering or comparable
• Experience in the public sector is desirable
• Willingness to help introduce new work processes and an affinity for digital applications and software solutions
• Driver's license class B
• Good IT skills
• Independent, reliable and structured way of working
• Willingness to use your private car for business trips if no pool vehicle is available
