Working Student in the Public Relations Department

• Create short texts as well as photo or video content (for SWD social media channels such as Facebook or LinkedIn) and edit images in Canva
• Compile the press review / maintain press clippings
• Maintain the SWD database and website
• Support the SWD newsletter
• Support with general administrative tasks
• Update and maintain data in eventbrite / the city of Dormagen event calendar on www.dormagen.de

• Enrolled Bachelor's student, ideally in a higher semester, or Master's student, in communication, journalism or marketing
• Research skills, very good German
• Confident use of Canva and Microsoft Office; possibly also Adobe Premiere/Photoshop/InDesign
• Interest in filming and photography
• First experience with Facebook and LinkedIn
• First journalistic experience is an advantage
• Initiative, quick comprehension
• Local knowledge of the city of Dormagen is an advantage
