Professional Internship as an Educator in a Daycare Centre for Children 2027

The professional internship is the final stage of the standard educator training programme. During a one-year placement in a municipal daycare centre, you will learn about the daily routine and work with different age groups, from nursery children to six-year-olds. The City of Schwäbisch Hall follows the INFANS concept and supports children’s early education and development.

• Work in a municipal daycare centre for children
• Learn about the centre’s daily routine and work with children from nursery age to six years old
• Accept, accompany, support and promote children in their development
• Identify and encourage the children’s talents, strengths, abilities and interests

• Intermediate school-leaving certificate or Abitur; Abitur may allow the training to be shortened to two years
• Completion of theoretical training at a specialist school for social pedagogy
• You are in the final year of your educator training
• Enjoy working with children and young people, patience, sociability and an open attitude
• Willingness to accompany and support children and work as part of a team
