Employee in Supervisory, Cashier and Gatekeeping Service

The deployment takes place at the Museum Ulm, the HfG Archive and the kunsthalle weishaupt. Due to the current closure of the Museum Ulm for extensive renovation measures, the service takes place predominantly at the HfG Archive and the kunsthalle weishaupt. Two positions with an average of 24 weekly hours and two positions with 12 weekly hours are to be filled. All four positions are limited until 15.06.2027 due to the closure of the exhibition. Please indicate in your application which employment scope is suitable for you. Remuneration is according to pay group 3 TVöD.

Supervision of visitors and provision of information on exhibitions, rooms and events. Control rounds in exhibition areas to protect exhibition objects and facilities as well as inspection of rooms before closing. Operation of technical equipment and control of lighting according to instructions. Sale of admission tickets and museum shop articles, admission control as well as supervision and coordination of guided groups. Support at events and guided tours, also outside regular opening hours, including setting up and dismantling furniture and equipment. Laying out information materials and further tasks in the museum shop.

Friendly, well-groomed appearance and enjoyment in dealing with people. Service orientation, reliability, sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team. Good German language skills; English skills or another foreign language are an advantage. Basic knowledge of cashiering. Interest in art and culture. Willingness to work according to duty roster, including two to three weekends per month, on public holidays and in the evening hours. Flexibility for deployment at various locations.
