Buffet, Cashier and Dishwashing Assistant for our Mensa Caballus

To reinforce our team at Bischofsholer Damm we are looking from 04.01.2027 for a Buffet, Cashier and Dishwashing Assistant (m/f/d) for our Mensa Caballus on a part-time basis (20 hours per week), initially limited to 2 years with a possible later takeover. You will work mainly Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 16:00 in rotating shifts. By arrangement, other working hours and assignments in our other canteens are possible. About two to three times a year, scheduled assignments on Saturdays or in the evening are planned.

You will handle the preparation and sale of food and beverages for breakfast and lunch supply. You serve food in compliance with weight specifications and inform guests about ingredients when required. You carry out cashier duties and treat our guests in a service-oriented and friendly manner at all times. You reliably manage the return of crockery in the dishwashing area and carefully ensure compliance with applicable HACCP guidelines.

You already have experience in gastronomy or a comparable field. You are reliable and punctual. You enjoy working with people, are service-oriented and carry out your tasks carefully and independently. You are physically resilient to meet the demands of prolonged standing and lifting. You have good German language skills; further language skills are welcome.

Remuneration according to EG 2 TV-L, level 1 to 3 depending on creditable professional experience (15.85 € gross to 17.44 € gross per hour). Annual special payment. Company pension scheme (VBL).
