• You analyse developments and trends in property and motor insurance and derive well-founded recommendations for action
• You perform portfolio analyses with a focus on E+S Rück’s business and provide valuable insights for our specialist departments
• You develop and enhance actuarial tools, particularly using R, as well as Excel and BI/MicroStrategy environments
• You actively contribute to the automation of underwriting processes and help further develop our systems and workflows
• You analyse the impact of regulatory requirements, particularly Solvency II, on the German reinsurance portfolio

• Successfully completed degree in (business) mathematics, physics, statistics, economics, or a comparable field of study
• Initial professional experience in the (re)insurance industry, as well as knowledge of property and motor insurance
• Actuarial knowledge is desirable, for example through DAV courses, CERA qualification, or a comparable certification; a completed DAV qualification is an advantage
• Knowledge of actuarial calculations and programming in R
• German language skills at C2 level and conversational English
• Willingness to undertake occasional one- to two-day business trips
• You work in a structured and independent manner and stand out through your analytical mindset and your ability to communicate effectively with different audiences
