Apprenticeship as an Office Management Clerk

During the 2.5-year apprenticeship at Lehmanns Media, a Thalia subsidiary, you will learn the commercial processes of a modern retail company. You will take responsibility, work with different departments, and contribute to projects.

Serving as the first point of contact for customers and handling enquiries by telephone and email in a friendly and reliable manner; entering orders correctly and tracking them through delivery; gaining insight into warehousing, sales, purchasing, and administration; maintaining data and information and documenting processes carefully; supporting teams with organizational and administrative tasks.

At least an intermediate school certificate or close to completing it; very good German skills at least at C1 level; interest in commercial processes and business relationships; an organized way of working and enjoyment of working with numbers; ability to work in a team, open communication, and independent work; initiative, reliability, and a positive attitude toward new tasks.

Training pay of €1,000 in the first, €1,100 in the second, and €1,200 gross in the third training year, plus a 13th salary; 20% employee discount, 30 days of holiday, a subsidy for the Deutschlandticket, and a free tolino eReader; a dedicated contact person throughout the apprenticeship; varied employment and development opportunities after successful completion.
