About this Apprenticeship
We work together with our own laptops, sometimes in the office on the innovative EUREF Campus and sometimes remotely from home. With good performance during the program and after successful completion, there are good chances of being hired. You get 30 days vacation plus December 24 and 31 are off, and we support you with exam preparation. You receive a lunch allowance and a monthly credit for diverse shopping in common stores (Pluxee Card). We cover the university's semester fees and the cost of your semester ticket. We support you financially with your travel and accommodation costs in Riesa (€300 net per month). During the program you will obtain a Class B driver's license; we cover the costs within the usual framework (minimum hours, first attempt). To enrich our daily work, there are many events such as training trips and sports days, summer parties, Christmas parties, and project events. You become part of a great team with many trainees and a dedicated training management. Your three-year dual study program is divided into six theoretical and six practical phases. The theory of energy and building technology, taught at our partner university, the Saxony University of Cooperative Education in Riesa, can be directly applied in various areas of the GASAG Group. You work in daily business and in technical projects with your colleagues on an equal footing. You study at the Saxony University of Cooperative Education in Riesa in a fixed group of about 30 students. During the practical phases you gain insights into the fields of planning and construction of state-of-the-art gas networks, realization and operation of heat and energy supply plants, quality assurance and monitoring to improve work processes, and expansion and operation of renewable energies in the GASAG Group. You are curious and want to contribute to the energy transition. You want to study but not forego practice and enjoy working in a team as much as we do. You enjoy mathematical and technical tasks. You have completed your (technical) university entrance qualification with good results, especially Math and Physics with grade 2. You have German language skills at level C1 at the start of the program to successfully complete your studies. You look forward to the regular alternation between practice in Berlin and theory at the Saxony University of Cooperative Education in Riesa. Then apply online with a cover letter, CV, and your last three certificates. Welcome to a world full of possibilities! Your degree as Bachelor of Engineering (f/m/d) in Energy and Building Technology opens many doors at the GASAG Group. Exciting tasks await you, such as planning and implementing modern energy systems for buildings, monitoring and optimizing existing systems, and developing innovative concepts for a sustainable energy supply. Depending on your individual focus, you can contribute your know-how in diverse projects and actively shape them. For example, in project management, supervision of biogas plants, or as a team member in areas developing neighborhood solutions. With your dual study program you lay the foundation for a successful career in the GASAG Group and become part of a dynamic team shaping the energy future. We say a resounding 'Yes' to diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity. One of our goals is to further increase the proportion of women in the GASAG Group. We look forward to your application – just as you are.
