Apprenticeship as an Industrial Mechanic - Start 2027

Three-and-a-half-year apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic with placements in specialist departments, at a cooperation partner and at vocational school. The program covers metalworking, control technology, maintenance, troubleshooting, technical documentation and industrial robotics.

Learn machining, cutting, forming and joining processes as well as control technology for mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical production systems. Assemble, maintain and troubleshoot production equipment, create and use technical documentation, and program and operate industrial robots while following occupational safety and environmental protection requirements.

At least a good intermediate or lower secondary school certificate; sound basic knowledge of mathematics and physics; manual dexterity; interest in mechanics and modern technical systems; willingness to take responsibility, willingness to learn, reliability and teamwork; German language skills at B2 level or higher, both written and spoken.

Modern training opportunities, a 35-hour week, collectively agreed training pay of €1,242.96 gross in the first year, €1,297.67 gross in the second year and €1,378.93 gross in the third year, special payments, pension-related benefits and an occupational pension.
