About this Apprenticeship
Three-and-a-half-year vocational training as an electronics technician for automation technology at thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG, Germany's largest steel producer. You learn at the plant and at vocational school. As an electronics technician for automation technology, you are responsible for keeping all systems needed for the production process running. After training, you can continue as a master craftsperson or technician, or go on to study.
What You'll Learn
- To set up, test, commission, maintain and optimize automation technology
- To install and connect electrical equipment and assess its safety
- To install and configure IT systems
- To correctly assess the importance of safety, health protection and environmental protection
- To plan and organize work and evaluate work results
