Apprenticeship as Electronics Technician for Operations Technology 2027 - Duisburg site

Three-and-a-half-year vocational training at thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG, Germany's largest steel producer. You learn at the plant and at vocational school. As an electronics technician for operations technology, you make sure operating systems, for example for distributing energy or switching and controlling technical processes, run smoothly. After the training you can continue to a master or technician qualification or go on to study. Pay follows the collective agreement of the iron and steel industry NRW (as of 01.01.2026).

• Install, test, commission, maintain and optimize electrical systems
• Assemble and connect electrical equipment and assess its safety
