Training as a Construction Mechanic 2027 – Bochum Location

Three-and-a-half-year vocational training at the plant and vocational school to manufacture and maintain metal structures such as industrial plants, cranes and vehicle bodies. The training covers technical manufacturing, assembly, maintenance and repair, as well as occupational safety and environmental protection.

Manufacturing individual parts and assemblies according to technical drawings and parts lists; using machining processes and machines; handling operating and auxiliary materials; assembling and dismantling metal structures; observing occupational safety and environmental protection; planning and organising work and evaluating results; manufacturing metal structures; carrying out maintenance and repairs; instructing customers in the operation of structures and systems.
