Apprenticeship High School Graduate & Retail Management Program for Future Leaders

For the start of training on 01.08.2027 we are looking for you as a future toomworker for an apprenticeship as a junior manager at toom in the DIY store sector. You are the focus for us. And a whole team behind you: Because respect, mutual appreciation, and support are the most important things for us – no matter what position you work in.

• In the high school graduate & retail management program for future leaders, you are integrated into our company from day one and learn retail, toom, and all processes up close in the store from various perspectives
• Within 18 months you already have your title as a retail management assistant (m/f/d), to then complete the further training to become a certified retail specialist and the trainer aptitude certificate (AdA) in 22 months
• You rotate through the various specialist departments in the store, acquire specific product knowledge of our assortments, and learn how to optimally advise customers and conduct sales talks
• Additionally, you accompany the store managers in their daily work and are perfectly prepared for entry as a junior manager
• Approximately every 6 weeks you will attend 5-day theory modules at our educational provider in Neuwied and benefit from excellent learning conditions due to small course groups

• General higher education entrance qualification or Fachhochschulreife
• Enjoyment of customer contact and dealing with customers
• Interest in retail and our DIY store assortment
• High level of communication skills
• Enjoy working in a team and later leading one yourself
• High willingness to perform, resilience, and strong talent for self-organization
• Regional flexibility (for the further training to become a certified retail specialist)
