Store Manager / Branch Manager

Independent management of the store and handling of our customers' concerns. Aligning actions in the store to customer requirements, ensuring implementation of services and acting as an entrepreneur on site. Disciplinary leadership and structured development of your store team (e.g. talent management, succession planning, recruitment) as well as acting as motivator, role model and coach. Achieving budget targets and responsibility for strategic site development. Ensuring (seasonal) product availability, inventory security and processes in the store together with your entire store team. Creating a communication structure in the store and acting as an impulse generator. Ensuring implementation of concepts, guidelines and services as well as internal and legal requirements (e.g. occupational safety).

A vocational qualification as a retail/wholesale management assistant (m/f/d), certified retail specialist, business economist, a business administration degree or comparable professional experience as a branch manager, store manager, site manager or house manager. Several years of experience in leading larger teams as well as developing and motivating employees. Sound business management knowledge in evaluating key figures, e.g. via merchandise management system. Strong organisational skills, e.g. for handling daily business and long-term planning. High sense of responsibility, willingness to make decisions and desire for personal responsibility. Ideally knowledge of the DIY store assortment.
