Tax Clerk / Certified Tax Specialist - Focus on Annual Financial Statements

Treuhand Hannover is looking for a tax clerk or certified tax specialist with a focus on annual financial statements for its Dresden branch. Flexible working time models, flextime (core hours 9 am to 3 pm) and home office options make it possible to combine work and private life.

• Financial accounting: You handle your clients' ongoing financial accounting: from account assignment and recording of receipts through account reconciliation to meaningful business analyses.
• Annual financial statements and tax returns: You help prepare annual financial statements for different legal forms and industries and prepare the related tax returns – from account reconciliation to the finished document.
• Reviewing assessments: You independently review tax and assessment notices, compare them with the declared figures, spot deviations and initiate the necessary follow-up steps.
• Support for our tax advisors: You prepare client documents in a structured way and support our tax advisors with reliable analyses, well-founded opinions and practical solution proposals.
• Communication with the tax office: You handle correspondence with the tax authorities, answer queries and requests for information, and support our clients in ongoing contact with the administration.

• A completed apprenticeship as a tax clerk; a certified tax specialist qualification is welcome but not required
• Several years of relevant work experience in the listed areas of responsibility
• Confidence in preparing financial statements
• Solid knowledge of financial accounting
• Prior experience with clients from the healthcare professions is not required, but a big plus!
• Good communication skills and enjoyment of working with clients and colleagues
• Strong service and customer orientation
