Painter / Coater

TRUMPF is looking for a painter/coater (f/m/d) at its Teningen site. The family-run company offers a respectful work environment with training opportunities.

• To prepare for coating, you clean, degrease and sand parts and assemblies properly and carefully mask or otherwise protect surfaces that are not to be painted
• As specified, you select suitable paints and coating materials and apply them properly with suitable methods and equipment
• During drying and curing processes you keep an eye on the prescribed process parameters and ensure a steady process
• With a trained eye you check coverage, color, coating pattern and surface quality of the coated parts, carry out necessary rework and document any deviations found
• By regularly maintaining your painting equipment and workstations and documenting material use and process information clearly, you help comply with occupational, environmental and hazardous substance regulations and actively help improve work processes

• With a completed apprenticeship as a painter, industrial painter, vehicle painter or painter and varnisher, or a comparable qualification, you bring the technical basis for this role; experience in industrial coating is an advantage
• You have basic knowledge of paints, coating materials and the related technical documents and feel confident using painting tools and systems, or are willing to learn the company's procedures
• Through your knowledge of occupational and hazardous substance safety, you reliably put the required company instructions into practice
• You work carefully with a strong sense of quality and have a trained eye for surfaces, colors and possible coating defects
• As a reliable and responsible person you work independently, coordinate closely with the team when needed, and show understanding of technical processes and flexibility with changing parts and orders
