Internship in Process Sensor Technology (Summer Semester 2027)

Internship at TRUMPF in Schramberg in process sensor technology. Starts in the summer semester 2027, lasts 6 months. Mandatory or voluntary internship possible.

• You plan welding trials for e-mobility applications and prepare their execution in a structured way
• While carrying out and documenting the welding trials, you gain practical experience in process development
• Using sensors, you monitor the welding processes and record relevant process data
• You evaluate sensor data and use your results to assess the welding processes
• In presentations, you present your results clearly to the team

• Your studies in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, physics or a comparable degree program form your technical foundation
• Ideally you have first practical experience with laser processes
• With a structured and independent way of working, you handle your tasks carefully and on your own responsibility
• Your analytical and conceptual skills and quick grasp help you evaluate sensor data
• In exchange with the team, you show initiative and dedicated effort even on demanding tasks
