What You'll Learn
- Design new free-beam setups for using ultrashort pulse lasers in industrial settings in the laser lab
- Put the developed concepts into practice when building the setups
- Explore the technology limits of the optomechanical systems through targeted tests
- Design test control, automation and evaluation of experiments with Python and/or C#
- Gain experience with ultrashort pulse lasers in practical material processing experiments
Requirements
- Your studies in a technical or scientific field such as electrical engineering, physics, computer science, optics, photonics or a comparable qualification form your professional basis
- First practical experience and theoretical knowledge in lasers, optics and/or laser material processing
- Programming skills, for example in Python, C# or Matlab
- Structured and independent way of working
- Initiative and strong motivation in the team
