Internship in Testing Application: Welding with Newly Developed Process Tools (SS27)

• In research on newly developed lasers with special beam properties, you support experimental investigations
• In quality and feasibility studies, you examine materials processing applications, including cutting, welding, drilling and beam measurements
• By determining and optimizing suitable laser parameters and processing strategies, you contribute to developing the processes
• In tests of new devices and components, you check their possible uses and support evaluating the results
• You design fixtures and take over evaluating and logging the measurement results

• Your studies in materials science, precision engineering or mechanical engineering form your technical foundation, or you bring a comparable qualification
• Ideally you have initial theoretical or practical experience in laser technology and/or its use in materials processing
• With a structured and independent working style, you handle new tasks carefully and responsibly
• Your analytical and conceptual skills and quick grasp help you investigate complex relationships
• In exchange with the team, you bring teamwork and initiative and communicate confidently in German and English, spoken and written
