Working Student, Lean Management & Industrial Engineering (Summer Semester 2027)

Working student role at TRUMPF in lean management and industrial engineering. You will analyse processes, develop improvement ideas, and help carry out projects and support plant management. Starts in the summer semester of 2027 and lasts six months.

• Analyse existing processes as part of lean management and identify opportunities for improvement in the relevant areas
• Contribute your own ideas when assessing possible improvements and help evaluate their technical suitability
• Help design new improvement projects using your creativity and analytical skills
• Take on parts of these projects and follow their progress through to successful introduction
• Work closely with industrial engineering to support plant management on ongoing projects and contribute to their success

• Studying Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or a similar subject with a focus on production, lean management or industrial engineering
• Basic knowledge of lean methods and process improvement, ideally already used in projects or internships
• An analytical and structured approach to work
• Confident use of MS Office and good written and spoken German and English
