Apprenticeship as a Nursing Professional (gn*) 2027

Three-year full-time apprenticeship as a nursing professional at UKM Marienhospital in internal medicine, with 38.5 hours per week. Course starts are 1 April, 1 August and 1 October 2027, or 1 November 2027 depending on the school location; theoretical training takes place in Münster, Rheine or Steinfurt-Borghorst.

A broad range of departments with modern diagnostics and treatment; rotations through hospital departments and outpatient care; block-based theoretical instruction in Münster, Rheine or Borghorst; active participation in patients’ recovery; exposure to a wide range of illnesses; nursing and preventive-care measures; training in specialized nursing techniques; teaching on psychosocial aspects of health and nursing care.

High motivation and interest in professionally supporting patients and their families; curiosity about the variety of nursing; teamwork and interprofessional collaboration; personal responsibility for learning and skills development; a strong sense of responsibility; medical fitness; an intermediate school-leaving certificate or equivalent foreign qualification; minimum age of 17 at the start; German language skills of at least B2.
