Nursing Specialist / Qualified Nurse

The UKB, as one of Germany's most powerful university hospitals, combines top-tier medicine and research with excellent teaching. In the infectious disease and oncology ward Paul Ehrlich, and Medical Clinics 1 and 3, a full-time position (38.5 hrs/week) is available as soon as possible. The Paul Ehrlich ward is undergoing restructuring to expand the oncology focus and reassign the infectious disease focus. Medical Clinic and Polyclinic 1 covers gastroenterology, hepatology, nephrology, endocrinology, infectiology, and intensive care and transplantation medicine. Medical Clinic and Polyclinic III focuses on hematology-oncology, rheumatology, and stem cell transplantation, dealing with benign and malignant diseases of the blood and bone marrow (hematology) and the development and treatment of solid tumors and tumor-related diseases (oncology).

Nursing care for patients and their relatives through all phases of infectious and oncological diseases; performance and documentation of nursing services according to current standards, guidelines, and procedures; proper operation of all medical devices used in treatment; accompaniment of patients considering psychosocial aspects; close interdisciplinary collaboration with medical and therapeutic professional groups; participation in interdisciplinary team meetings.

Completed training as a Nursing Specialist (Pflegefachfrau/mann), Health and Nurse, or equivalent professional qualification; responsible and structured work approach; empathetic, appreciative communication style with patients and relatives; strong intercultural and gender-sensitive understanding.
