The position is to be filled from 01.01.2027 in part-time employment with 30 hours per week for 3 years, fixed-term. Remuneration is according to the classification regulations of the Collective Agreement for the Public Service (TV-L) and, provided personal requirements are met, up to salary group E13. Within the IRTG 2773, subproject 3 "Early risk factors in severe affective disorders: A multimodal approach to developmental neuroscience", early risk factors of severe affective disorders are investigated using a multimodal developmental neuroscience approach.

Study coordination, data collection and statistical analyses. Preparation and publication of scientific manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals. Active participation in the IRTG curriculum and associated training activities. Supervision of student assistants and students.

Completed Master's or Diploma degree in cognitive, computational and/or affective neuroscience, psychology, psychiatry or a related field. Alternatively: University degree in a quantitatively oriented discipline, e.g. computer science, physics, statistics, data science, biometrics or machine learning. Initial scientific experience, especially in statistical methods, is desirable. Ideally first experience in writing scientific publications as first or co-author. Basic programming skills, e.g. in Linux/Unix shell scripting, Python or MATLAB, are an advantage. Experience in analysis of imaging data, e.g. with FSL, SPM, FreeSurfer or comparable programs, is an advantage but not a prerequisite. Very good English skills (at least level C1). Good German skills (at least level B1).
