Apprenticeship Nursing Professional – Generalist or Generalist with Pediatric Specialization

Apprenticeship at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE). You learn qualified nursing care for people of all ages, from infants to the elderly, and acquire the skills of general nursing, pediatric nursing and elderly care. With this qualification you can work in hospitals, children's hospitals, nursing homes and/or outpatient care. Training starts every year on 1 Feb, 1 Apr, 1 Aug and 1 Nov; the training with pediatric specialization starts only on 1 Feb and 1 Aug. Duration: 3 years.

• You have completed the intermediate school certificate, alternatively another equivalent recognized qualification, a lower secondary school certificate with successfully completed vocational training, or another ten years of general schooling
• International applicants must provide recognition of their school qualification by German school authorities, including a translation, as well as a German course certificate at level B2
• You are at least 16.5 years old at the start of the training
• Ideally you have completed a two-week nursing internship
• You need a signed proof of parental consent if you are under 18
